And
every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under
the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,"To
Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor
and glory and dominion forever and ever."
– Revelation 5:13

Jonathan
Kegans was born October 18, 1964, in San Francisco, CA. He is the
youngest of three children born to Donald and Lucinda Kegans. In
1966, his family moved to Yonkers, NY, where Jonathan spent the next
14 years. In 1980, Jonathan began playing around with an old guitar
that belonged to his mother , finding escape from the pains and trials
of life through playing music. In 1981, Jonathan moved to Colorado,
where he graduated from Thomas Jefferson H.S. in 1982. Jonathan spent
the next three years experimenting with a number of things, trying
to find excitement and purpose for living. All of these experiments
led him to emptiness and despair without any peace or contentment.
Jonathan accepted Jesus
Christ (Yeshua) as his Savior and Lord after a near-death experience
in 1985. He began to understand His purpose and destiny in loving and
serving God (Yahweh), and in leading worship and helping others discover
their identity and destiny in God. Jonathan has found fulfillment in
writing songs and leading worship for the last 20 plus years. Jonathan
loves helping other musicians develop their worship leading gift. Jonathan
has recently recorded his debut album, entitled “Wholly
to Yahweh”.
It is a compilation of some of the songs that he has written in the
past few years. Jonathan’s hope is that the songs that he writes
will draw people closer to God. Jonathan and his wife Elizabeth have
8 children (Nathaniel, Matthew, Jeremy, Rachel, Sarah, Rebekah, Isaiah
and Leah), whom they home school and find great joy in. They have also
founded “Great Adventure Kids Club”, which is a non-profit
organization that helps young people discover their God given identity
and destiny. Jonathan and his family currently reside in Denver, Colorado.
Jonathan currently serves as a Worship leader at Olam Fellowship in
Littleton, Colorado, and Living Word Christian Fellowship in Grand
Lake, Colorado.
