Shalom and Welcome!
The simplicity of God’s plan for us never ceases to amaze me. We have a choice every day to respond to His invitation to come interact with Him and partner with Him, or we can go our own way and do our own thing. The question is, “Why do we so often choose to go our own way?” Most often it is a lack of trust that comes from a lack of intimacy with the One who created us. Worship is simply looking away from self to the Creator, interacting with Him, talking to Him, singing to Him, telling Him how you really feel and coming in agreement with who He says He is. “Wholly to Yahweh” is a compilation of songs that the Holy Spirit is using to help me connect with the one true God in a real way. The two biggest distractions that keep us from interacting with God are pride and fear. Pride says, “I have enough wisdom on my own to not even have to interact with God anymore. Who needs God? I have myself.” The Bible clearly says that God resists the proud but embraces the humble. Humility says, “He is the Potter and I am the clay. Each day is a new opportunity to allow Him to shape me into who He created me to be.” Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear says, “I am not sure I can trust that God knows what is best for me. I'd better come up with Plan B just in case God’s Plan A doesn’t work.” Read More... Jonathan Kegans
